PBMC is home to one of Long Island’s most highly regarded centers for orthopedic surgery, and is designated as a Center of Excellence for Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery by The Joint Commission. We are a leader in robotic surgery and accredited as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by SRC. In addition, PBMC’s Bariatric Surgery program has been accredited by MBSAQIP as a Comprehensive Center for Bariatric Weight-Loss Surgery.
Peconic Bay Medical Center offers outstanding Emergency Care. We are certified as an Advanced Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission. We are also a NYS-designated Stroke Center and have been rated in the top three hospitals in both the Tri-State area and all of New York State for patient safety by a national consumer rating agency. We are also certified in Advanced Palliative Care by The Joint Commission.
Our home care agency serves all of Eastern Suffolk County, and our outpatient rehabilitation programs set the standard for excellence.
